En el habla argentina la palabra capo tiene varios matices de significado que van más allá de su origen italiano. Aunque proviene del término capo que en italiano significa “cabeza” o “jefe”, su uso en el Río de la Plata se ha adaptado a contextos cotidianos, deportivos y culturales, adquiriendo matices que reflejan la idiosincrasia local.
